(More customer reviews)I've used several different digital locks before. Most you simply press a program button on the inside cover, type in your code, press the button again and you're done. This lock actually needs to be programmed using a "programming code" in order to set your pass code. Enter the Programming Code, press the Programming Button, select 1 for new user code, press Programming Button, enter new user code, Press Programming Button. Sounds easy? Impossible to program this without having the instructions on hand as all times. There are 10 different options for setting up different users, autolocking, etc.etc. May be ok for a rental house with multiple people and the owner needs to set a master programming code and then multiple users. But too complicated for a single family home needing a single pass code. I just got locked out of my home because the latch did not retract fully and got stuck in on locked state. The weather stripping on the door applied too much pressure and the motor was not strong enough to retract the deadbolt. (Not uncommon with these types of locks) But it defaulted to a locked state and would not reset even after it's claimed 45 seconds. I'm giving this product a low rating because I should not have to break into my own house because of an over-engineered deadbolt.

(More customer reviews)I usually don't write reviews for things but I was compelled to write one for this just to warn people. So I was pretty excited to get this item for my new home but unfortunately during assembly, things just didn't fit together.
First of all, it's more of a lighter reddish brown than what is shown in the picture. Having dark brown hardwood floors, this makes it look pretty awkward. The installation part was also pretty painful. There were pre-drilled holes that weren't big enough for the cam screws it came with. I had to use a filer to sand down the holes to make things fit. I also had to use the provided wood glue for the dowels. It's not that big of a problem, but it was something that caught me off guard.
The most FRUSTRATING part was when it was time to slide the drawer into the unit...IT JUST DIDN'T FIT!! I followed the instructions and made sure the bearings were slid to the front before inserting and it just didn't fit. After about an hour I was finally able to force it in, but by then the sides of the drawer were heavily scraped up on the sides by the rails. The box it came with was already pretty banged up and I don't know how easy it is to break down the item to return it (wood glue in various parts). So I guess I'm stuck w/a $400+ item that looks funny in my living room. I truly regret getting this. =(

Bush Furniture Midnight Mist TV Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I really like the look of this stand! I'm getting a 42" Flat Panel LCD TV along with it, and after searching around online and at stores, this was in my opinion the best value. I bought it on a Monday, and even with the slowest shipping option (free shipping), I received it that Thursday!
The assembly of this stand is pretty straightforward, and shouldn't take more than an hour. If you get this stand, which I recommend, just make sure to really pay attention to the directions and the orientation of all the pieces, or you'll have to backtrack a few times like I did!
Two negatives that I have with it:
1)(Small negative) It's a little low for me. If it were a few inches higher, it would be perfect. But even at its height, it's still fine.
2)(Big negative) Along the same lines...with the way the support bars are designed, the shelves are not tall enough to fit DVD's in upright!! Whats the deal?? You'd think if you were to design a TV stand, you would at give the shelves enough height for DVD's! Technically you can fit them in there, but you have to place them behind that horizontal chrome bar, and then make sure you have enough space to tilt each DVD at an angle in order to get it out...sheesh! Either that or just stack them on top of each other, if you don't mind it.
Besides those two low points (no pun intended :-) this is a nice stand, and overall I am glad I bought it.

So I have had this on my ipod touch 2g for about 3 months and finally took it off. It was too scratched to do any more good.
Was surprised it worked as well as it did.
It did cut down on the brightness by about 1/3 but it looks cool when off.
I'd recommend buying it again if you want that shiny experience.

Oster 2534 Inspire Handheld Mixer with Bonus Attachments Review

(More customer reviews)The biggest issue for me is that the retractable cord is quite short - probably about a foot long - so I can't hold the mixer at a comfortable angle even when I'm working right in front of an outlet. What's more, the lowest setting is much faster than on any other mixer I've used. I've gotten into the habit of whisking by hand until a mixture is fairly thick before turning to the mixer. Even then it's still fast enough to make a bit of a mess, so I usually just finish by hand to save the trouble of having something else to wash up. Lastly, the eject button isn't actually a button, it's just an area of plastic with a logo on it that you're supposed to run your thumb down to release the beaters. It's creaky and feels flimsy, and it doesn't usually let got of the beaters until you try it a few times.
On the upside, the unit has a nice heft, the rubber grip is comfortable, and the switch feels solid. The negatives outweigh the positives for me, though, so I'm going to keep an eye out for something better.

Klipsch Image S4i Premium Noise-Isolating Headset with 3-Button Apple Control Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these to go with a shuffle to use while working out and I am very happy with them.
Sound quality: The sound quality is excellent for the money ... they have a ton of bass which is perfect for what I am using them for. I own the Image X10s too which are superb but they are 3 times the price and don't have the inline controls. The X10s sound quality is definitely superior, they're more accurate and have much better separation but that's just not necessary when I'm more focused on not passing out while running up the hills here in San Francisco. I find the Klipsch's Image range to be pretty bassy in general so if you are listening to classical music or a lot of instrumental stuff at high bit-rates you will likely be happier with a set of Etymotic ER4Ps (very accurate with amazing separation) but if you're listening to rock/hip-hop/dance etc. the Klipsch Image range are a great choice.
Build quality: Time will tell how well they hold up but they feel sturdier than the X10s and I have had those for 8 months ... I've been pretty hard on them and have had no issues whatsoever.
Comparison to other brands: I have had Shures and several sets of Etymotics in the past and am now a total Klipsch fan. The Klipsch IEMs have comparable sound quality (better for some types of music), are far more comfortable than both Shures and Etys, are better made than the Etys and are better value for money than the Shures.
One word or warning that you will see in many of the reviews: if you have never used IEMs (In-Ear-Monitors aka sound isolating earphones) - they take some getting used to. You need to make sure to get a good seal in you ear for them to work well, if they're lacking bass it's probably because you don't have a good seal. They really do block out pretty much all noise so make sure to look both ways before crossing the road ;-)

(More customer reviews)I haven't tried this with the amber dome using tungsten yet but have tried the Lightsphere with and without the chrome dome and it seems to work really well. Much better than some of the cheap to costly price range reflecting plastic strap or velcro on items in terms of light transmission and direction, concentrating on forward with just a a touch of bounced flash for balance.
Fine tuning exposure compensation will be by trial and error but even at ETTL using a 580 EX II the results are very nice.
It works for me, I wish I had splashed out much earlier rather than buying a range of well known name diffusers, but some of us have to learn through experience!

302 Desk Phone, 5.5"Hx9"W, BRUSHED CHROME Review

(More customer reviews)First off, this is a quality, solid metal phone. It sounds as good as one can expect an analog phone to sound, and it's sturdy enough to take a serious beating. The finish on the brushed steel model is nice, and seems to resist fingerprints pretty reasonably. As an added bonus, the ringer in this phone is an honest-to-goodness old-school bell ringer. Seriously. No cheesy electronic imitation ring here. Really, the only downside to this phone is that the handset cord does not seem to be detatchable, which means that undoing tangles is a lot more difficult than it should be, and that if that cable ever gets damaged, well... so much for the phone. Maybe that was done to keep this reproduction true to the original Crosley 302, but that seems like a minor enough detail (and a big enough inconvenience) that it could bear modernizing.
Speaking of which... there's another review that complains about the lack of caller ID, and that it's uncomfortable to hold on one's shoulder. Well see, the thing is, this is a reproduction of phone model that's nearly 70 years old. That's how the handset was shaped then, so that's how it's shaped now. If they changed the shape in order to make it more comfortable, it wouldn't be a reproduction any more, it would be a whole new phone. That would really defeat the purpose (and eliminate the novelty) here. And as for Caller ID, well, it's enough that they replaced the rotary dial with touch-tone buttons in a circle... I think caller ID might have been pushing it with this design.
Long story short, this is a great phone if you're going for a seriously contemporary/retro look and won't need to use the phone that often... but certainly don't choose this as your primary phone. It's more form than function.

Best part however is viewing your camera from any MS Internet Explorer (browser) PC, which works flawlessly. I did have installation questions and Microseven was very responsive on more than one occasion. Image quality is excellent and surprisingly, the night imaging is terrific which I wasn't expecting. Recording to the internal SD card allows querying by date/time and copying to my PC, which has been very helpful with a teenage boy in the house! All-in, very pleased and have placed orders for two more cameras.

I haven't heard any complaints, and the preview picture shown is identical to the real thing. The decal stays on great, so far it hasn't even started to peel off.
