(More customer reviews)I haven't tried this with the amber dome using tungsten yet but have tried the Lightsphere with and without the chrome dome and it seems to work really well. Much better than some of the cheap to costly price range reflecting plastic strap or velcro on items in terms of light transmission and direction, concentrating on forward with just a a touch of bounced flash for balance.
Fine tuning exposure compensation will be by trial and error but even at ETTL using a 580 EX II the results are very nice.
It works for me, I wish I had splashed out much earlier rather than buying a range of well known name diffusers, but some of us have to learn through experience!
