(More customer reviews)This unit is much brighter than another green laser I used to own (which dimmed after switching on). The beam output is constantly bright, and I can see the beam in a semi-darkened room, in fact, I can see the beam under my desk in a well lit office. With a magnifying glass I can actually burn small holes in black dustbin liner (don't try this at home!). It's well made, feels nice and comes in a smart foam lined steel case. This is definitely the best laser pointer I've ever had. Highly recommended.

No, it's not red - it's greenOkay, just about everyone has a red laser pointer. Heck, we even sell a fine one here at ThinkGeek. But, we're pretty sure you want to be a superior geek - and doing it with a green laser is the way to go.This pointer is significantly brighter (about 50 times) than a red laser pointer and because of its unusual color it is much more noticeable. I mean come on, a 532 nm green laser wavelength is obviously superior to a laughable 650 nm red laser wavelength. And unlike a red laser, the green beam itself can be seen in mid-air in dark conditions, not just the laser beam dot. This allows the green laser pointer to be used for pointing to star constellations (skypointing) and also just generally look cool as hell. The green laser beam dot can be seen at much greater distances than with a red laser pointer.Since green direct injection laser diodes aren't readily available, this pointer is based on the use of Diode Pumped Solid State Frequency Doubled (DPSSFD) laser technology. It physically looked just as the picture with no disappointments, love the shiny color coat, love the fold-up option, love the cushions for the head and ears. my only complaint would be that the fit is not as great as i expected, when i put it on i would still be about to hear a lot of outside noise, i could crank up the volume but then other people would be able to hear my music blasting. Im used to using earbuds, not headphones so i have a harder time with storing it when its not in use, its pretty bulky. Another problem would be that when i put on the headphones and take it off, sometimes my hair gets caught at the pinch at the top. Overall i am satisfied with this product, i have gotten a lot of compliments whenever i wear it and since its winter time it covers my ears like an ear warmer!

(More customer reviews)These are suitable for penetrating standard carpeting. I purchased the shorter ones and they would be more suitable for tile or hardwood using the included bases. The shorter ones were too short and stocky to be certain that there was proper contact with the subfloor. Being taller and not as wide with more a narrower point, its very obvious, that the point penetrated thru both the carpet backing and padding. The shorter ones weren't tall enough to ensure optimal isolation thru standard pile carpeting. I doubt there was any pentration thru the backing much less the padding.
Anyway easy to install. A 5mm hex key is needed. English hex keys will round out inside the insert.
Spikes are chrome and the bases are a dirty nickel as shown in the pictures. They are not black, more like a metallic grey.

iBeats Headphones with ControlTalk From Monster® - In-Ear Noise Isolation - Black Review

(More customer reviews)First off, I own several pairs of headphones, both in ear and over ear, and the iBeats are above and beyond anything I've used. The first step was finding the right fit (of the 7 tips included, I found 2 that fit perfectly, one regular mold, and the other the "Airlock" style). The standard tips are a snug fit, and allow the bass to hit fairly hard. I have a pair of Koss in ear headphones, and the Bass does hit harder, but the iBeats bass is much cleaner. The "Airlock" style tips fit snug as well, and I found that while in my ears, they were comfortable, but after long periods of wear, after removing them there was some slight pain. I also own a pair of Skullcandy Hesh over ears, and the iBeats again sound better than the Skullcandies. While I would recommend the Hesh to anyone on a budget looking for good sound for your money, I would recommend iBeats as well to anyone that can afford them. The ControlTalk feature is nice for the iBeats as well, and I've had no complaints from anyone on the other end of my phone. If I had one complaint it would have to be that the ControlTalk on cable volume and music control feature does not work on the iPhone 3G, but I recently upgraded to the iPhone 4 and cannot complain about that now. The thing I can't give enough praise about is the noise cancellation. iBeats block out almost all outside sound, and you dont have to jack the volume up extremely high to do it. Simply put, it is excellent. All in all, these are the best sounding ear buds I've ever heard, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friend or family.

The case is so tight that the protectors bubble up on the sides and corners. While you can push them down for a while, they eventually stop sticking to the iPhone.
I thought it was possible that I was aligning the screen protector incorrectly--so I took it to the Apple store and had them apply the screen protector and put the case on--same problem.
I even emailed the manufacturer, incase, and asked if any screen protector was compatible with the case. They replied, very coldly, that there were not and that any protector I had on the screen should be removed because the case was not designed to accommodate screen protectors.
I don't know about anyone else, but I spent enough money on my iPhone to want to protect the phone AND the screen. And there are plenty of cases out there that will let me do just that. I ended up with the Speck Geometric case, which was recommended to me at the Apple store. So far so good!
