(More customer reviews)I bought this pointer to to executive level presentations with, and once I opened the package I found the pointer to be hard to use, the buttons require significant force to depress them and the quality of the line feature of the pointer is poor.
Spend your money elsewhere on a different product. I bought it because of the brand name, and that was a let down.

(More customer reviews)Mine arrived quickly and was extremely bright - just like other reviews. The problem is that I have used it a total of about 2 hours and it is already dead. Not the batteries - the laser. If I could get another one that continually works (a few hundred hours) like this one did for the first 2 hours, I would definitely do so. It was great while it lasted. My red laser has worked thousands of hours and it was only $10.

(More customer reviews)This unit is much brighter than another green laser I used to own (which dimmed after switching on). The beam output is constantly bright, and I can see the beam in a semi-darkened room, in fact, I can see the beam under my desk in a well lit office. With a magnifying glass I can actually burn small holes in black dustbin liner (don't try this at home!). It's well made, feels nice and comes in a smart foam lined steel case. This is definitely the best laser pointer I've ever had. Highly recommended.

No, it's not red - it's greenOkay, just about everyone has a red laser pointer. Heck, we even sell a fine one here at ThinkGeek. But, we're pretty sure you want to be a superior geek - and doing it with a green laser is the way to go.This pointer is significantly brighter (about 50 times) than a red laser pointer and because of its unusual color it is much more noticeable. I mean come on, a 532 nm green laser wavelength is obviously superior to a laughable 650 nm red laser wavelength. And unlike a red laser, the green beam itself can be seen in mid-air in dark conditions, not just the laser beam dot. This allows the green laser pointer to be used for pointing to star constellations (skypointing) and also just generally look cool as hell. There are a number of pictures floating around the web of green laser pointers but almost all of them are fake or at the very least a poor representation of the actual light beam. Overall its a great laser pointer but it is a little expensive and your not getting a light saber as some of the pictures would have you believe.
