Monster MPC I402 2C-.5M Extreme Low Noise 2-Channel Car Stereo RCA Cables (0.5 meters) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews). . .but over-engineered and overpriced like all "audiophile" cables. That said, I'm not going to put some cheapo cables on a high end sound system and these were the most reasonable in cost. I'm also a fan of the Acoustic Research cables that are a little less pricey, but these were available and the mood was right. . . . sigh. . .going against my better instincts again.

Quartet Multi-Function Laser Pointer with Strobe, Class 3, Projects 500 Yards, Silver Barrel (MP-1400Q) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this pointer to to executive level presentations with, and once I opened the package I found the pointer to be hard to use, the buttons require significant force to depress them and the quality of the line feature of the pointer is poor.
Spend your money elsewhere on a different product. I bought it because of the brand name, and that was a let down.

Dual DS653 120 Watt 3-Way 6.5-Inch Coaxial Car Speaker System Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)One of the front door speakers in my 99 Chevy Silverado was blown, so I bought a set of the Dual DS653's to add new life to my ailing stereo. The stereo in the truck is the original factory unit, and I wasn't really looking for any big improvement in performance, so I didn't have any expectations going into this. I picked the DS653's mainly because they seemed like one of the better deals out there, and Dual is a well recognized name in audio. After installing the speakers I cranked up the tunes and found myself pleasantly surprised. The DS653's have good solid bass (at least as solid as one can expect from a 6 1/2" speaker) and clear detailed highs thanks to the dome tweeters. Overall the lows and highs are cleaner and more detailed than the factory stock speakers, with less muddiness in the mid-range. If you're looking for a budget minded speaker replacement and/or upgrade, then the DS653s should do well for you.

Bring the noise when you match your thumping car stereo system with this pair of Dual DS653 two-way speakers, which can handle up to 60 watts of RMS power (120 watts peak). They measure 6.5 inches round and feature a black chromed polypropylene cone, 1-inch black mylar dome tweeter, high-strength ABS grill with futuristic two-tone styling, black foam surround, rubber magnet boot, and black stamped-steel basket.
Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder.

GE 24731 HDTV Antenna Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This unit is made with the cheapest materials: thin metal, thin wiring, an unstable base. I bought one and nearly broke an antenna rod screwing it in to the base.
This one sells for $10 and it's not worth that. I went to RadioShack and bought their basic rabbit ears for $12. It's built like a Cadillac compared to this Yugo. And it gets 2 channels that this one failed to get.
The base on the GE 24731 that I had was not the same as in the photo shown here.
Bottom line: avoid this cheapie.

AKG D7 Professional dynamic mic for lead vocals Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My husband is a professional touring artist and he asked for this mic after using at a club somewhere out west. Great price, great quality.

AKG's new D7 reference dynamic microphone delivers high end performance and noble sound in every studio and on every stage. The new Laminated Varimotion diaphragm deep-drawing process allows the diaphragm itself to be fine-tuned with no extra tuning resonators. This leads to a quantum leap in audio performance under each surrounding conditions and sound volume. D 7 creates that subtle and opened sound in all frequency ranges condenser mics are famous for, but it also has the powerful resonance from a dynamic microphone. The integrated high-pass filter eliminates permanent all handling noises and the new acoustical designed inner windscreen makes you feel more secure in live use. The precision metal dust filter provides a consistent objection to the diaphragm

Uniden Bearcat PC78 Elite 40-Channel CB Radio Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have used CB'S for over twenty years, This one is the best I have used in that time. I might add that for me it is the "fanciest" one I have ever bought. I do find the weather channel to be useful as I commute across the country. The ergonomic mike is a pleasure to use, I expect to see copycats on the market soon. You could spend a lot more for a CB and not get any better performance.

Classically styled but equipped with all the modern features, the Uniden Bearcat PC78 Elite CB radio is a must for truckers, boaters, and other CB enthusiasts. The radio is housed in a stylish silver chassis with backlit chrome control knobs--an enduring look that's sure to satisfy longtime CB fans. More importantly, the radio operates on any of the 40 AM frequencies authorized by the FCC, while also picking up seven NOAA weather channels. For good measure, it even includes an alarm that sounds when a severe weather storm is forecast.
Perhaps the PC78 Elite's most satisfying feature, however, is Uniden's dynamic squelch control, which delivers a clear signal with less noise so that all your channels sound crisp and legible. The squelch control even reduces noise when the CB user on the other end doesn't have it, an advantage that few other squelch enhancers enjoy. The front-positioned microphone, meanwhile, is easy to access and comfortable to hold thanks to its ergonomic pistol grip and extra-long coiled cord.
Additional features include an enhanced night-vision display; Delta tuning; adjustable RF and mic gain controls; instant access to channel 9 (the emergency channel); a PA/CB switch; soft-wave radio (SWR) calibration; and signal meter, antenna warning, and LED indicators that let you monitor radio activity at a glance.
The unit, which measures 7.28 by 2.2 by 8.89 inches (W x H x D) and weighs a little over 4 pounds, is backed by a two-year warranty on parts and labor.
