(More customer reviews)These earbuds are easily beaten by the $11 Skullcandy earbuds. Skullcandy earbuds are more powerful than these with more bass and louder volume. This so called super bass is not even close to what I expected. The bass isn't bad just could be better. The $30 Altec earbuds are also louder than these but these beat altec on bass. I only paid $19.99 for these from buy.com and I still think that's kind of high. The only reason these are more expensive is the simple fact that they are made from metal in the shape of skulls and come in a fancy coffin shaped box. They have a nice design they just lack the performance. They are kinda heavy and have small speakers. If you pay more than $20 for these you will be disappointed.

These are not your schoolyard variety painted headphones. Oh, no. New RUFFIAN Skull earphones are all substance, on every level. RUFFIAN's all metal molded casing chases that shot of fizzy soda water that leaves a tingle in your mouth with a tall, cool glass of proverbial gasoline. The fact that you now have an accessory to match those tiny shrunken heads you found near the Amazon campsite where your friends went missing...well, that's just a bonus. In addition to bypassing mainstream design, the RUFFIAN's audio quality is excellent. A snug and comfortable in-ear fit isolates outside noise, so all you get is clean, powerful sound delivery. These drivers sound so top shelf that, while listening to RUFFIAN earphones, you might actually experience fleeting hallucinations of Queen Elizabeth or other vestiges stately enough to use the term "ruffian" in everyday speech. Move beyond the superficial and celebrate on the outside what we all share on the inside: An acoustically impressive metal skull. The sooner you do, the sooner you'll know for yourself the truth of the popular old adage: RUFFIAN skulls are for lovers. Music lovers. Haters tread lightly.
