(More customer reviews)I custom-modded my case, it has 3 clear sides so I cut a hole next to my 4870x2 and installed a fan. With blades exposed, I popped this guy on and it looks great! Carefull with screw though, they are tough to get in as they are larger then fan base.

(More customer reviews)These do what they're supposed to. They fit the 40MM fan perfectly and keep folks from sticking their finger in where it's not supposed to be. Of course, that's kind of tough to do with a 40MM fan anyway. But, never underestimate the ability for people to do something stupid.

(More customer reviews)This size fan guard is an absolute must for the 140mm case fans in high airflow cases, like the CoolerMaster 900
series (HAF 912, 922, 932, etc.) that come with them. Protect yourself, your motherboard, and fingers using these
case fan guards. It will save you from an expensive repair replacing a PWM SMT chip, an op amp, FET, etc. beside
preventing what could be serious injury to your fingers.
Always install fan guards on every fan in your computer, regardless of size. You might think about adding one to
your GPU unit as well, if your work live and your computer has a graphics card with one on or in the heatsink.
