It's compact, folds up nicely, lightweight. When set up, it's stable. If you're looking for portable, lightweight, extremely functional mic stand for a very reasonable price, this is the one! I shopped prices and got mine with shipping for about 15 bucks. It looks like it will last a lifetime.
