(More customer reviews)This scope is great. It shows the surface of common materials with good res and clarity. 500x means that 1/32" width shows up as 15" on your screen. The ideal combo is to get a 200x scope (which I have) in tandem with this scope. Along with a good macro feature on a camera & you have the whole range. Professional results for $90 - can't beat it.
